Of course we all know that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Any girl will subtly let you guys know that! Another thing we all seem to know is that diamonds are no friend of men. Why is this? Is it something that you have ever stopped and wondered about or do you just assume it is fact because that is what has been told to you? Well, we decided to explore this and research it a little further. Hopefully we begin to realize more about the diamond craze and how it relates to both male and females. We are not so sure that men always dislike diamonds. There are some instances when men actually fight for them!
They Pay for Them
It is hard to really like something that you have to pay a lot of money for that you do not get to keep. Men are always the ones who have to shell out large amounts of money in order for the woman they love to have a great diamond. All men can see are dollar signs floating away through the air and not the diamond that is being purchased. If there was a way to get diamonds for free and give them to the person they love then men would probably enjoy this experience more. Some men do not mind paying for this, but it is a tough thing to do, especially if that man does not have a lot of money to begin with. It is a big commitment!
Speaking of Commitment…
Diamond rings symbolize commitment. A lot of men are afraid of being tied down too early. When men see diamonds all they can think about is commitment, which they might not be ready for. Call it instinct, but men usually shy away from that type of stuff, especially if they have been in a long term relationship. It may sound odd, but that is definitely part of the reason why diamonds are not looked at fondly by men. Sure, they will settle, but it will only be on their terms, and a diamond ring feels like a bit of a rush to them.
Proof That Men Love Diamonds!
Most men love to watch sports. What is the ultimate goal in sports? The ultimate goal is to win the championship. When you win the championship you get the trophy and you get the championship ring! The championship ring usually has some sort of diamond ensemble within it. This is something that all sports fans would love to own, which just goes to show you that men also fight over diamonds. Ladies, the next time a man in your life says he does not get what women see in diamonds, then just let him know that he loves diamonds as well. He will have a hard time denying that he wants a diamond championship ring of his own.
